Principle
ChinRooz is a static website with no user accounts, no contact form, and no server-side processing of what you enter.
Personal data therefore arises only to the extent that delivering the pages technically requires.

Connection data processed
When a page is requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data, in particular your device's IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, and the identifier your browser sends. This processing is necessary to deliver the pages, secure the connection, and defend against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The controller's legitimate interest lies in providing this service securely, reliably, and efficiently.
The provider Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so an adequacy decision of the European Commission covers transfers to the United States.
The controller operates no servers and keeps no access logs of their own. The connection data described above is not analysed in a personally identifiable way.
No cookies, no tracking, no advertising
This website sets no cookies. No advertising networks are embedded, no visitor profiles are created, and no movement across sites is followed.
Reach is measured by a cookieless, purely aggregate method described in the following section. Apart from that, visiting these pages loads no third-party content: no external fonts, and no embedded maps, videos, or social networks.
There are no user accounts, no registration, no newsletter, and no contact form.
Reach measurement with Cloudflare Web Analytics
To see which pages are opened and how quickly they become available in the browser, Cloudflare Web Analytics is used on every page of this website. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., named under “Hosting” above.
For this, your browser loads a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com, which then reports the view of the respective page to cloudflareinsights.com. What is transmitted is the address opened, the referring address where there is one, general information about browser, device type, and country, and technical measurements of how quickly the page loaded and rendered.
This method sets no cookies and stores no identifier on your device that could recognise you on a later visit. There is no tracking across sites, no usage profile is built, and the reporting is aggregate only: individual visitors are not identifiable in it. Your IP address is not stored for the analysis.
The values you enter and the results calculated from them — dates, years of birth, ages, and outcomes — never reach this measurement at any point. The script can see only that a page was opened and how it performed; the conversion itself stays entirely in your browser.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The controller's legitimate interest lies in being able to judge the reach and the technical quality of this service. Because no cookies are set and no identifiers are stored on or read from your device for this purpose, the measurement takes place without consent.
You can prevent the measurement by blocking the script named above with a content blocker or an equivalent browser setting. Every function of this website remains fully usable if you do.
Processing of your input in the browser
ChinRooz converts dates entirely in your browser. The values you enter and the results calculated from them — a date of birth or any other calendar date — are not transmitted to the controller, not logged, not stored, and never placed in the address bar.
When you place a result on the clipboard using one of the copy buttons, that happens locally on your device only, and only as a direct consequence of your click. The website never reads the clipboard.
The birthday profile — completed age and next birthday — needs today's date. Your browser reads only your device's local calendar date for that, without the time and without the timezone, and only when you ask for the profile. That value is used for the calculation alone; it is not stored and not transmitted.
Offline use and local storage
So that ChinRooz remains usable without an internet connection, your browser keeps a copy of this website's public files — pages, stylesheet, script, and icon — in its local storage after your first visit.
That copy contains publicly retrievable files only and no personal data. Values you enter and results calculated from them are not stored in it.
The storage serves solely the function you called up and is based on § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. You can delete it at any time through your browser settings.
Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the following rights in relation to the controller. An informal message to the address below is enough to exercise them.
